If you returned an item and requested a refund for your item, once your item has been scanned back at our warehouse, the amount of your returned item will be automatically applied as credit your Takealot profile.
You can see your credit balance by going to My Account Dashboard. Your credit will reflect under the Payments & Credits section.
Should you wish to have your credit refunded instead, please don't hesitate to let us know by replying to the email this article is linked to and our friendly Online Shopping Assistants will be happy to assist.
If you paid your order by EFT or COD, you’ll need to provide us with your banking details. Credit card payments will be processed directly into the credit card account used to pay for the order.
All other payments will be refunded via the original payment method used to purchase the order.
It’s important to remember that refunds may take 5 to 7 working days to reflect depending on your payment method and the bank used.
