Ozow - Instant Payment Method

What is Ozow

Ozow is an easy to use Instant EFT payment method which allows customers to use internet banking while paying through a secure payment page hosted by their bank.  Customers will now be able to create a pin and use the pin to pay using Ozow instead of logging into their internet banking.

HOW?

When a customer chooses to pay using Ozow they can Opt in on the first Ozow screen and then continue as normal with payment in the current manner of logging into internet banking on their bank’s hosted page.

After payment is complete, they will be redirected to creating a pin for the next shop with us.  The Pin will automatically be saved and can then be used across all our platforms i.e Website, Mobiweb & Mobile apps.

The pin is for takealot.com shopping only and can only be used when shopping with us.  The pin will be linked to the takealot profile the customer uses during the OPT in process only.

Important to note: All normal payment authentication and approval steps apply when using the pin for security purposes as outlined with the customer’s bank.  e.g  two-factor authentication and security with the bank via App Authentication, OTP or Push Message.
