The “My Account” section on the website relates to the customers order history, payments and credits, their digital library, update customer information and wishlist.
Customers are able to check their order history: Cancelled items; Digital items; Order summary.
MY ACCOUNT: ORDERS: Track
If a customer clicks on the “Track” button and they will be able to track their orders.
MY ACCOUNT: ORDER - INVOICES
Invoices are available to customers for items sold by Takealot. If an item was sold by a 3rd party via Takealot the invoice needs to be sent from the seller. Clicking on “Request invoice” would send a notification to the Seller.
MY ACCOUNT: ORDER - EXCHANGES AND RETURNS/PRODUCT REVIEW
Customers can log returns via their “Account”. This can be done by clicking on the “Log Now” button and filling in the form.
MY ACCOUNT: PAYMENTS & CREDITS - MY CREDITS
Credits can be viewed via Payments and Credits under the “Credits” section. Credits can be originated from Vouchers, Credits or Returns.
MY ACCOUNT: APPLY A GIFT VOUCHER CODE
Customers can redeem their vouchers for credit that can be used towards payment for their orders. Alternatively, the voucher can be redeemed upon checkout.
MY ACCOUNT: DIGITAL LIBRARY - EBOOK DIGITAL LIBRARY &
Once a customer has purchased an ebook, the link to the book will be found in the Digital Library
MY ACCOUNT: CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Customers can make changes to their personal details, add or remove previously used addresses and change their newsletter subscription preferences.
MY ACCOUNT - WISHLIST
Is the item you really want out of stock or maybe you not yet ready to check the item out for payment? Simply add the item to your wishlist for checkout at a later stage.
